LEAGUE STRUCTURE
The CSFL features 66 entirely user-controlled teams, divided into conferences as outlined on our official Discord server and website. Each conference is overseen by a designated Conference Commissioner (CC), who serves as your primary point of contact for gameplay inquiries, scheduling support, and dispute resolution.
Our regulations are strictly defined to ensure a fair, highly authentic simulation experience for all participants. The CSFL is a passion project built on mutual respect; every user is expected to uphold the integrity of a true-to-life football experience. Please thoroughly familiarize yourself with our comprehensive guidelines:
LEAGUE ADMINISTRATION & GOVERNANCE
The CSFL was founded by an executive leadership group consisting of the League Commissioner and Vice Commissioner. To ensure transparency and structural integrity, the league is governed by an Administrative Committee composed of Executive Leadership and all Conference Commissioners. Major decisions—including rule amendments, structural updates, and disciplinary actions outside of standard gameplay infractions—are brought before the committee for a transparent, democratic vote.
THE ROLE OF THE CONFERENCE COMMISSIONER (CC) Conference Commissioners serve as the operational backbone of the CSFL. To hold this position, a member must consistently exhibit exemplary gameplay, integrity, and leadership both on the field and within the community.
🔹 Conference Oversight: Monitoring gameplay, enforcing league rules, and resolving intra-conference disputes.
🔹 League Governance: Active participation in the Administrative Committee and voting on league-wide initiatives. 🔹 Talent & Community Development: Identifying and appointing members to crucial league roles, including media creation and the Playoff Committee.
🔹 Mentorship: Utilizing leadership authority to mentor new members and delegate tasks. Selection Process: When a CC vacancy occurs, candidates are nominated by their peers. The league administration conducts a thorough review of the nominee’s character, reputation, and contributions before a formal confirmation vote is held by the committee.
